JPA SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS FOR LOCAL MEDICINE, DENTISTRY AND PHARMACY UNDERGRADUATES 2011

Public Service Department (PSD) will automatically offer scholarships for first year students in critical courses as below under the Program Ijazah Dalam Negara 2011:


  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)

First year students in these courses are advised to print the scholarship offer letters with necessary supporting documents at Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) website from 4 September 2011.

DELL MALAYSIA SKLIKS ENHANCEMENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM 2011


The scholarships are awarded to Malaysian students who are pursuing FIRST (lst), SECOND (2nd) and THIRD (3rd) year fullltime undergraduate first degree courses tenable at Dell selected local public universities and local private institutions/foreign universities branch campuses in Malaysia.


Value of Scholarship (Subject to change at the absolute discretion of Dell)

  • Undergraduate studies at selected local public universities at RM 12,000 p.a.
  • Undergraduate studies (twinning programme) at selected local private institutions/ foreign universities branch campuses in Malaysia up to the full tuition/ course fees.
  • Successful scholars, upon completion of their respective courses and graduation are required to serve Dell for a minimum of 2 years (subject to vacancy availability).

  • Business Management/ Administration
  • Engineering
  • Economics
  • Statistics / Mathematics

Eligibility
Students must fulfill the following requirements:

  • A Malaysian citizen
  • Not more than 2S years of age
  • Minimum academic results:
  • Minimum CGPA 3.7 from the latest university results for non-fresh entry students
  • STPM : Minimum CGPA 3.7
  • Matriculation / Foundation / Pre-U / Diploma: Minimum CGPA 3.7 Currently not expecting or holding any other scholarship or any form of financial aid from any other educational institution or organization
  • Proficiency in the English language (both oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Active in both co-curricular activities and sports

Eligibility:
  • Applicants must have a good first degree. If English is not your first language then you will need to provide evidence of proficiency in written and spoken English. The normal minimum requirement for admission onto one of these programmes is an overall score of 6.5 on the British Council IELTS test or 600 on the TOEFL test.

  • These scholarships are available to both UK/EU and International (i.e., from outside the EU) applicants. The scholarships are available for distance learning study only and applicants must be able to commence their studies in October 2011.
