HBRS is an interdisciplinary graduate school for physicians and life scientists (engineers, veterinary scientists etc).
On October 13th 2006, HBRS was awarded the title �excellent graduate school�. HBRS will now receive 1 Million Euro/year for 5 years from the German government in course of the German �Excellence Initiative�. These funds will be spent on coordination, stipends, training etc.
HBRS was founded in October 2003. Under its roof all graduate programs (see left) of Hannover Medical School and partner institutes are coordinated. We were one of the first to award PhD degrees in Germany.
We are very proud to announce that our PhD program �Molecular Medicine� and HBRS celebrated its 10th anniversary of structered doctoral training in October 2010.
