Eligibility:Applicants who reside in the United States must meet one of the following requirements:
- be a legal resident of the United States; have been granted permanent residency
- have a valid visa that does not prohibit educational studies
- have been granted temporary protected status along with approved Notice of Action issued by Citizen Immigration Services and verified through CIS or have been granted asylum along with the approved Notice of Action issued by the Citizen Immigration Services.
- Applicants must be a staff member with Wichita Children�s Home or a foster parent associated with Wichita Children�s Home.

Scholarship Description: University of Phoenix is pleased to partner with the Wichita Children�s Home to offer a scholarship program. The Wichita Children�s Home was founded in 1888 as the city�s first orphanage to �support and care for destitute and homeless children.� Today, the Wichita Children�s Home offers the only emergency, temporary residential shelter for children in our community. The Home is open 24/7 and serves children from birth to 22 years of age.
