Eligibility:
The Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. Be a citizen of any of a Selected Least Developed Member Country.
2. Age not over 30 years.
3. Be a graduate in science/technology with a grade above Good in his/her academic career.
4. Be nominated by an academic research institution of his/her country.
5. Be determined to return home at the end of his/her studies.
6. Not in receipt of another scholarship.
7. Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Selected Least Developed Member Countries of IDB

Scholarship Description: The objective of the M.Sc. is to assist Selected LDMCs in the development of their human resources in science and technology that are both relevant and necessary for their socio-economic development. The Programme is open only to students from the 20 Selected LDMC. To increase the number of intermediate level manpower in Selected LDMCs (i.e. the M.Sc. graduates) and to enable them to participate in the IDB Merit Scholarship Programme for High Technology (MSP).
