Eligibility:
  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant field. -A 1st degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or an equivalent discipline. -Experience in the laboratory testing of marine systems and subsequent analysis of results.


Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: Building on your experience in laboratory testing of hydrodynamic systems, you will work within an international team investigating the standardisation of test and measurement practices in marine (especially tidal) testing facilities across Europe. It is anticipated that you will work upon the identification of appropriate new techniques for measurement and analysis of data and the subsequently implementation of protocols which can be adopted across the range of facilities within the EU funded MARINET programme.
